It’s amazing how much can change in a year...

It all started with a mini ombre cake for my youngest son’s 6-month birthday in July 2023. Back then, I had no idea where this cake journey was going to take me. I just figured that I found a hobby that I really liked, but it turned into so much more than that.

One year ago, I made the decision to turn Daisy Baked It into a LLC. Initially, my goal was to design cakes and cupcakes for people in my community. I now realize that the dreams I have for Daisy Baked It extends past cakes and cupcakes. Designing cakes is my way of bringing happiness to people, but I also desire to bring people together and create memorable moments. This is where the idea of cake + sip experiences was born. One year later, what started as a therapeutic hobby turned into a full-time business. One year later, I have grown so much - both professionally and personally. It’s truly amazing what can change in a year.

My hope is to continue to share my transformation + journey with you all. I pray that it inspires someone to follow their dreams. You never know the plan that God has in store for you and where it may lead you. I can’t wait to see how life continues to unfold in 2025!
